Small Camping Table

So if you are trekking to your camping sport, worry not, you’ll still be able to take a camping table. Some of our mid-range camping tables are slightly larger in size and perhaps better suited for trailers, car boots or roof racks. One thing is for sure though, a camping table is an must for any avid camper so we recommend you find a way to fit one in somehow!
Typical structure of a camping table
Camping tables usually have folding legs. They are easy to put up and usually utilise a clamp on the underside of the table. Some modern camping tables are actually roll-away – making use of a tough fabric to form the table itslef and collapsable legs so that the table can be rolled into a very small storage area. The designers of these tables realise that space and weight is at a premium when camping, and the design reflects this. The diagram below shows the typical formation of a camping table, although it should be noted that telescopic legs can also be used sometimes.
Choosing a camping table
When choosing your camping table we would highly recommend that you consider where your camping table is going to be used, and under what circumstances. Firsty, plan how you are going to transport the table. If you are walking to your destination then you’ll need a small, compact table that can be easily slotted into a rucksack. If you have the luxury of driving to your site, then a larger camping table may be more suitable, particularly if it is a family camping trip you are planning.
